Summer Activities

Vacation Bible School (VBS)

VBS is a fun-filled week of activities and excitement centered on a Bible theme. In early June, we transform the parish house and surrounding grounds into our Vacation Bible School. VBS campers may find themselves on a “tropical island” or in a marketplace in “Athens,” with the location emphasizing the week's Bible theme.

Each morning, from 9:00 – noon, children are engaged in stories, crafts, singing, dancing, games, and other hands-on learning experiences, all focused on the Bible lesson of the day which emphasizes the week's theme.

This year, VBS will be during the week of June 18-22.
