Children and Youth in Worship

We believe that sharing our worship with the younger members of our church is essential to their religious upbringing and to the future of our church.  We welcome children of all ages to attend our services.  In addition to attendance at these weekly periods of worship, our youth members participate in many other ways.  Some of the areas where our youth members participate with us include serving as crucifers (bearers of the cross), acolytes (altar assistants), banner bearers, and members of our children's choir and bell choir.

Nursery care is available at the 10:30 service for infants and children from 5 months to 5 years old. They will be brought to the church to join the congregation for communion.

Children's Chapel is available for all children through the 2nd grade. The children participate in a child-friendly Liturgy of the Word, processing, singing, praying, hearing the Gospel. Children join their parents in the big church for Holy Communion.
